Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains the terms and conditions for refunds of membership fees and donations made to YTBRS & Digital Creators Association (Registered Section 8 Company).

1. Membership Fee Refund Policy

Volunteer Registration Fee (₹100)

The one-time volunteer registration fee of ₹100 is non-refundable under normal circumstances.

Refund Eligibility

Refunds will only be considered in the following exceptional cases:

  • Technical error causing duplicate payment
  • Payment made by mistake (accidental payment)
  • Failed registration due to technical issues from our side
  • Fraudulent transaction reported by bank

Non-Refundable Cases

  • Change of mind after registration
  • Failure to use membership benefits
  • Inactive volunteer account
  • Violation of terms leading to account suspension

2. Donation Refund Policy

Donations made to YTBRS & Digital Creators Association are considered voluntary contributions to support our non-profit activities.

Refund Conditions for Donations:

  • Donations are generally non-refundable
  • Refunds may be considered only in case of proven fraudulent transactions
  • Refund requests must be made within 7 days of transaction
  • Administrative charges may apply for refund processing

3. Refund Process

Step 1: Refund Request

Submit a refund request by email to refunds@ytbrs.org with:

  • Transaction ID/Reference Number
  • Date of transaction
  • Amount paid
  • Reason for refund request
  • Bank account details (for refund transfer)

Step 2: Verification

Our team will verify the request within 5-7 business days.

Step 3: Refund Processing

If approved, refund will be processed within 10-15 business days to the original payment method.

⚠️ Important Notes:

• Refund processing time depends on your bank/payment provider

• We cannot refund cash payments

• GST/transaction charges are non-refundable

• Refund requests older than 30 days cannot be processed

4. Cancellation Policy

Volunteer membership cannot be cancelled once activated. However, you can deactivate your account by contacting support.

Account deactivation does not entitle you to a refund of the registration fee.
